Peregrine Falcon Nesting Season “Down Under”
We here in Western NY (and throughout the Northern Hemisphere) are saying goodbye to the spring/summer birds and are preparing for autumn and winter, but our friends in the Southern Hemishphere are not only waiting for those birds that will migrate to their regions in the coming months – it’s also the start of nesting season for them.
For our viewers who are feeling that “empty nest syndrome” here in the US, Canada and Europe, they can view two Peregrine Falcon nests (via webcams) in Australia!

Frodo and Frieda have 3 eggs (in Brisbane, Australia) http://www.news.com.au/couriermail/extras/frodocam/frodo.htm
sponsored by “The Courier Mail“. Read more observations, comments, etc… on the forum here: http://www.buffalofalcons.com/forum/index.php?topic=218.0
There is also the Alcoa Peregrine Falcon Nest, Victoria, Australia! http://www.alcoa.com/australia/en/info_page/falcon_webcam.asp Sheila and Havoc are incubating 4 eggs

Forum members are also following this nest. Their observations, comments and cam captures can be found here on our forum: http://www.buffalofalcons.com/forum/index.php?topic=257.0
