Fourth Egg for the Chimney Swifts!
The fourth egg arrived in the Glenham, NY Chimney Swift nest this morning (Thursday, 06/19/08)! ![]()
Looking at “glenham’s” camera, it does appear that active incubation by the pair has started.
Will there be a fifth egg? We’ll have to wait and see! Chimney Swifts lay their eggs EVERY OTHER day so if there is a number five it should arrive on Saturday, June 21st.
You can follow the Chimney Swift nest on our forum or you can visit the Cornell Lab of Ornithology NestCams site were we are a cam host.
