News: NEWS Regarding the Statler Nest
I received the following update from Connie Adams, DEC and she asked me to share it on this website:
"Kimmarie
  Peregrines will be nesting before you know it, and I wanted to let you know what was up with the situation at the Statler, since you have always been so active and concerned about that particular nest." {the rest of the message is here}

After months of work we are finally live with the Swifts Cam.

http://www.falconsandfriends.com/?page_id=115

Last year we had a Chimney Swift nest come crashing down in our fire place during a heavy rain storm. After a quick couple of phone calls and an internet search we realized the 4 Baby Swifts needed to be back with their parents.. They are way too complicated for most to rehab..
We built a quick temporary ledge...lowered it with a cam... Success Mom And Pop started feeding them right away...

Since this event and the construction of our new house starting soon.. We were worried about taking their Home from them so we decided to build a Swift Tower for only them. ( Of course with cams )

I would like to thank Kimmarie  sign0173 for her skills, hard work at webmastering and patience with me over these long months..

Hope you enjoy these unique Birds....

Glenham and  Kimmarie -

WOW!  I am so excited about this new webcam.  This is wonderful!  You did a fantastic job. Can you show us what it looks like from the ground outside?

Here's to the Chimney Swifts Cam's success!
